Executive leader with extensive experience growing organizations, increasing strategic partnerships and managing controversial policy issues in global food security and for many pressing challenges associated with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Co-founder of Meridian Institute, an international non-profit organization. Developed and implemented over 40 major stakeholder-based solutions, especially in African agricultural development, renewable energy policy and planning, ecosystem restoration, chemical and hazardous waste management, and natural resource management.

Led World Food Prize Foundation as the second President (and first woman), elevating Laureates, young people and other leadership through Digital Dialogues, Laureate Letters, Youth Institutes, and the International Borlaug Dialogue. Increased international presence and impact of WFPF by delivering keynote speeches, facilitating high-level dialogues, and mobilizing knowledge, technologies and research within the global food security community. Successfully increased staff size, improved diversity, equity and inclusion, and installed a transparent management and decision making model. Mobilized financial resources from over 80 donors each year to achieve annual balanced budgets in all 3 years.

Developing continent-wide partnership to control aflatoxin in food and feed in Africa, in conjunction with the African Union Commission, Regional Economic Communities, Farmer Organizations and many others.

For 22 years, served as Senior Partner and project director designing, facilitating and implementing collaborative projects. Worked with the public and private sectors to create innovative approaches identifying problems and building uncommon solutions, particularly in agriculture in Africa, sustainable development, alternative energy development, air quality management, land use and natural resource management and waste management.
