Even though my career has spanned over forty years working in several different industries, my job roles fell into three categories: Customer Service, Secretarial and PA, and Teaching Assistant. The first two roles allowed me to learn soft and hard skills for the first time in the workplace. I developed a penchant for working as part of a team and learning new IT software. I tend to acquire and retain new skills through visual learning.In my current role as Teaching Assistant, I acquired inspiration from my daughter. I was determined to work with Special Needs children/young people like her. It is a challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling experience.I am ready for a new career path. I know the skills that I've acquired are transferrable. And I look forward to utilizing them in future job roles.
