As one of three Schools Project Managers, I was responsible for all state highway schools in the South Island, and for working with 19 City and District Councils to facilitate the alignment of our programmes. During our design and delivery preparations, I gained a Prince2 qualification to formalise my skills. I have loved working on Safe speeds around schools, as part of a strong and multi-skilled PM team and have enjoyed supporting other team members with my strengths and learning from theirs. However, as the programme was paused before the delivery phase, my preference is to spend some time in a Project Coordinator role or similar to build on my experience.I also have a strong background in communications and engagement and have worked on several large infrastructure projects in Northland and Auckland. My strong relationship building, and communication skills were an asset when supporting diverse communities affected by construction.
