I am an Advanced Certified* Mediator/Arbitrator/Ombudsman in Texas and an Attorney admitted to practice law in California** with over thirty years of experience, including a strong business background. My legal background which includes working at two national law firms and teaching Law has included an emphasis on alternative dispute resolution since 1981. For fifteen years, I operated, managed, secured funding for and repositioned companies, as well as lead turnaround initiatives and developed brands. I have successfully worked with major venture capital investors, and my background includes translating and negotiating for the SATRA Group in Russia, consulting and expert witness testimony. I have served on the Boards of private and non-profit companies; my international business experience is extensive and global strategic positioning is a specialty. I am involved in facilitating strategic organizational planning sessions and I speak frequently on mediation topics, including the advantages of co-mediation in multi-party and complex situations. I am honored to be a member of the Texas A& M University Chancellor's Century Council and President of the Tarleton State University Board of Directors. I currently live in Texas and focus on mediation there, but my legal practice in California remains active.
