Program defines critical components for building the foundation of a successful career at ACPNY and mapped activities, learning, resources and support to enable every employee in any medical office to effectively acquire those components over their first 90 days of employment. The suite of tools and resources developed for ACPNY medical office leaders ensured the program can be effectively implemented and sustained across all medical offices. • Developed and implemented a structured, formalized process for learning solution development. Process ensures learning solutions align with organizational goals and values, have clearly defined expectations of outcomes, and meet criteria for potential eligibility for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. • Led team that introduced new learning technologies and approaches that have increased employee engagement, expanded learning inventories available and overall greatly improved the learning experience.

Established and drove the overall strategies and direction for the learning and documentations teams supporting three subsidiaries of DTCC. Led global staff of 14 instructional designers, technical writers, trainers and multimedia producers through the design, development and deployment of learning and documentation solutions in support of corporate goals and objectives. Solutions included: elearning, instructor-led classroom training, instructor-led virtual training, user guides, job aids, help files and certification programs. Provided governance and oversight of design, development and deployment standards for all learning solutions. Managed all aspects of talent development and employee engagement in the learning organization. Managed budgets for two P&Ls and owned marketing initiatives for all learning programs.

Directed team of 10 instructional designers and technical writers responsible for designing, developing and deploying online learning and documentation solutions for the products and services produced by DTCC subsidiaries. Established and implemented client learning support strategies. Provided governance over design, development and deployment standards for learning solutions. Managed the strategic aspects of large learning solution engagements, directed vendor resources, and mitigated risk. Highlights included: • Earned awards from Society of Technical Communication for quality and excellence in learning products for five consecutive years.• Delivered company’s first “context-sensitive” help system; identified by clients as one the top three favorite features in new application in beta surveys. • Launched company’s first training podcasts and Webcasts, providing clients with new learning options for content.

Established organization’s first Learning Analytics (LA) function to measure the efficiency of the learning team’s development processes, the effectiveness of the learning solutions it produced and the team’s success in meeting organizational goals/targets. LA function was one of the first of its kind in the industry. Highlights included:• Led the design, development and implementation of certification programs targeting securities operations personnel. Programs established competency standards within the financial industry in the use of DTCC’s products and services, and served to support financial industry firms’ succession planning and business continuity planning. • Significantly increased learning function visibility and awareness of analytics’ value to executives, clients and industry professionals.
