Worked at NSMC intermittently for 39 yrs, in direct patient care in Cardiac ICU and later in Cardiac Rehab. Gained expert assessment skills and up -to- date treatment options at both centers. Strong communication skills with compassion and empathy to assist patients and families with a variety of cardiac issues.

Coordinated multidisciplinary care plans for 20-30 clients in home settings. I enjoyed the personal attention I was able to give in these environments ! Many opportunities for advanced practice (i.e. LVAD care at home) kept the position interesting and current.
