Moerk Water Solutions is a team of engineers, experts in water treatment, and desalination specialists who are dedicated to providing a reliable water supply to those who need it most. We deliver safe, holistic and simple water solutions to remote and arid areas of the Asia-Pacific, Australia and East Africa. Our mission is to empower communities by delivering small-scale, renewable energy powered, reverse osmosis desalination units that deliver either safe potable water or agricultural water. Moerk Water's technology, is custom designed and engineered by our specialised team to be resilient to long and short-term climate disasters. Desalination will be increasingly needed in emergency situations (drought, cyclones, etc.) as sea levels rise and disasters increase in severity due to the effects of climate change. We provide cutting edge, simple and low-maintenance solar desalination plants suitable for atoll environments with fragile freshwater lenses and severe climate change vulnerabilities. Our solar-powered, easy to maintain equipment has been proven in our projects such as Uripiv (Malekula) and in our work with the Department of Water Resources (DoWR) in Vanuatu. Moerk Water works to promote social development through local ownership, job creation, education and skill-building. We encourage the inclusion, active participation and decision-making of all local people in the design, implementation and maintenance of the technology, and strongly emphasise co-operating with local partners to ensure long-term solutions. I direct and build business relationships and partnerships with International/ Australian government Departments and Ministries by offering our solutions to assist governments to deliver their WASH policies and targets. During projects, I am the lead project manager and communications adviser.

As well as being a full-time mother to our four daughters, I maintained a rich variety of social engagements with groups that nurtured and encouraged women, and an active involvement in the Scouts. I started the Scout group in our town as well as other work with similar children's groups.
