I am a facilitator - a mid-wife - helping people to "birth" their new learning. My objectives are to help people live a long and healthy life and to learn life long. My areas of expertise fall into two main categories: Successful Aging and Teaching Teachers to teach. SUCCESSFUL AGING:As a Boomer turns 65 every 7 seconds, the world is changing. More people are alive over the age of 65 than in any time in human history. The numbers grow daily. People are more concerned about SUCCESSFUL AGING, particularly in the area of MEMORY ENHANCEMENT and MAINTAINING BRAIN HEALTH. I incorporate a "holistic" approach including Mind/Body/Spirit as we cannot separate these issues out.In the area of SUCCESSFUL AGING I facilitate seminars on many aspects of brain health including, but not limited to: Care and Feeding of Your Brain, Dealing with Memory enhancement, Stress reduction, the advantages of an Attitude of Gratitude, Multiple Intelligences and the aging brain, creative and critical thinking and a host of other areas ALL linked to maintaining and enhancing brain health. I teach locally and nationally. I teach for Lifespan, Oasis, the JCC, MVP, Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) many assisted and independent living facilities near Rochester, NY and around the country. I lead retreats and seminars on these very current and hot topics.TEACHING TEACHERS:Teaching is and always will be my passion. I teach teachers and pastors to teach.
