Merger was designed to reduce set-up time and scrap by 25% and increase productivity by 20%. Staffing plan was designed to reduce the man to machine ratio by 10%.· Decreased operating cost and increased sales potential by spearheading cost reduction efforts. Resulted in a savings of over $1 million per year for the last 3 years due to reduced scrap, reduction in material usage and increase in productivity. · Reviewed new products for manufacturability and quoted the cost to electroplate. Recommended design changes to reduce cost to manufacture.· Ensured compliance with city, state and EPA hazardous waste compliance. There were no fines from the city, state or EPA since moving to the facility in 2000.· Administered and Promoted Health and Safety initiatives. In 2008 there were no lost time reportable incidents or lost days. In 2007 there was a 26% reduction in reportable incidents. · Reduced set-up scrap by 70% in 2008 and attained a 45% reduction in parts per million scrap in 2007 by coordinating staff and resources to implement continuous improvement.· Received corporate recognition for rating on Internal Financial Audit. The Audit affirmed excellence in internal controls.

Managed 19 direct reports including process, mechanical and electrical engineers, chemistry lab technicians and waste treatment operation.· Responsible for maintaining processes, initiating cost reduction and process improvement.
