For me, experiencing culture still means eating, drinking, laughing, getting to know people and their stories. Since my first trip to the People's Republic of China in 1990, I not only collected many kilometres of travel in the following years, but also intensive experiences in East Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. After working in science and business, I finally turned these experiences into my profession.
