Senior Pcb Designer
Current* Design and re-design of rigid and rigid-flex, multi-layer printed circuit boards, carrying digital, analog, power, and hybrid circuitry, for radiation measurement and detection applications.* Perform layer stack-up and impedance analysis for controlled impedance and differential impedance applications.* Review schematics and BOMs for potential errors in part information and wiring, and provide feedback to Engineering.* Create and process Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders.* Create and maintain materials and material BOMs.* Create and maintain manufacturing prints for fabrication and assembly.* Perform peer reviews of printed circuit board designs, component footprints, documentation, and ECOs to ensure accuracy and completeness, and that current standards are adhered to.* Develop a Design Review Checklist to ensure that critical design elements are reviewed, and that there is a record of the review process.* Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing and Purchasing to ensure that new design and re-spin efforts are fully reviewed and properly handled, to ensure a successful introduction.* Participate on the PCB Outsourcing team to ensure the successful transition of outsourcing thru-hole assemblies that are currently built in house. * Provide general Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and Purchasing support, as needed.
