Create and drive a bold vision for communications strategy across the organization. Responsible for overseeing the communications operations of the company and across the North America region for global parent. This includes planning, development and execution of the organizations marketing, advertising, public relations, and internal as well as, external communications initiatives.External Communications: Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on high-priority media interactions, staff media interviews for key Company leaders and facilitate the creation of media and speaker coaching. Oversee the development of leaders’ speech and script writing. Direct the development of external content, including press releases, web and blog content, brand messaging, and market thought leadership. Lead crisis management communications as necessary. Oversee social media presence. Internal Communications: Develop and own execution plans in partnership with my HR clients, including identifying innovative opportunities to expand our internal communications presence to drive awareness and engagement.Events: Oversee development & productions of communications related to corporate events (e.g., awards events, Town Halls, and other event sponsorships).Metrics and Measurement: Implement a system for measuring return on investment from communications activities and use performance metrics to guide performance improvement efforts as necessary.Leadership: Manage North American-based internal agency operations and the work of the Communications team. Lead all Communications and PR related activities, including resource management, project management, agency management and external vendor management.
