Currently, I provide oversight of the IPS-Supported Employment (IPS-SE) program for Southwest Counseling Solutions. IPS-SE is an evidence-based practice that assists those diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness by helping them find competitive employment in the community. The practice, initiated by Dartmouth College, has proven to enhance the recovery efforts of the clients we serve. As the Manager of the Healthy Solutions program, I oversee the extensive efforts to encourage our clients to make healthy choices to enhance their longevity. Classes are held for clients to exercise and to learn more about nutrition, smoking cessation, stress management, healthy cooking and diabetes education. As the Manager of the Specialized Residential program, I work with the case managers who serve those living in Adult Foster Care homes.

In managing the Office for Workers in Transition I served asliaison of the College to State agencies; stayed current on State and federal policy changes; advisor to non-traditional students who were returning to college or had never attended; advocated on behlf of students; link to college departments to help faciliate the transition of the non-traditional students into college; and, kept comprehensive records, produced funding documents, provided reports to fulfill grant requirements.
