Hello! My name is Barbara, and I am currently a graduate student at Rockhurst University pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In my career I aspire to be a practicing physical therapist in the growing field, applying the skills I learn in school and out on the clinic field to help individuals daily. Going into my undergrad years I initially selected Rockhurst University for the opportunity to compete at the college level in lacrosse. It wasn't soon after being on campus that I realized the opportunity I had to get involved in many other clubs and activities off of the athletics field as well. Originally from Richland, Washington I decided to stay in Kansas City after my undergrad years as I grew connected to the community and individuals around me. I enjoy investing my time into those around me and the things that matter most, continuing to be intentional with every opportunity presented.
