Barbara Hendricks is a retired human resources executive with over 20 years of experience in leading HR operations, performance improvement projects, and talent management for large and complex organizations. She has a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Innovation, as well as multiple certifications in HR and health care administration, such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and FACHE.Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources at The University of Maryland Medical System - Shore Regional Health, where she was the top HR officer and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She led, motivated, and managed an 11-member team that supported over 2,000 internal managers and employees via a Shared Services model. She also facilitated the organization's strategic workforce planning, organizational development, mergers and acquisitions, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, talent management, and change leadership initiatives. She is passionate about linking people and business practices, and facilitating learning and development for multidisciplinary groups and leaders.
