Asa founder of financial services firms and an executive with nationwide andFortune 50 banking institutions, she has extensive knowledge and experience infinance, P&L and cash flow management, audit, compliance, SEC regulation,compensation and governance. Barbara is seeking private or public companyboards that would benefit from this as well as her deep evaluation expertise andunderstanding of growth management, competitive analysis and long-termvaluation metrics.As a serial entrepreneur and 27-year CEO, Barbara built Cypress Wealth Advisorsfrom the ground up to $1.2B AUM and positioned it for its strategic sale andsuccessful integration with the $14.5B AUM investment firm, Cresset, where sheled as Executive Managing Director during her successful earnout. She continuesto serve on Cresset’s Advisory Board, the governing body which providesoversight on strategy, DEI, digital presence, and private alternative investments.Prior to Cypress, Barbara founded and was CEO of Springcreek Corporationwhere, similar to Cypress, she had oversight of governance and the company’sP&L, cash management, compliance, client relations and service delivery. Duringher tenure as CEO of both firms, she oversaw the creation of technologyplatforms, delivering a secure interface for service delivery, clientcommunications, controls, data management and reporting. She also continuedto serve key clients including CEOs and founders of companies across real estate,technology, financial, and food service businesses.Barbara’s started her career with JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo Bank, whereshe developed deep insight into the management and structuring of privatecompanies along with the analysis of financial statements and the importance ofunderstanding cash flow, sources and uses. At Wells Fargo, her deepunderstanding of commercial real estate and private companies, led to theformation of the Private Bank. This same understanding laid the foundation forthe entrepreneurial career that followed.
