My training as a operational specialist, with a global, multi-billion dollar company, developed my fundamental sense of community. Meaning, my understanding of how important each individual is to the entire collective has been fostered by my exposure to diverse and talented people. For after all, communities seem to be constructs compromised of both parts and wholes. I believe these members may work in unison with each other.Though this understanding initially occurred from my work in aviation, the teachings remain easily interchangeable. For example, my skills in time management, structure, strategy, accountability, and leadership easily transfer as skills to be usefully incorporated into a multitude of businesses, whether they be personal households or multinational industries.I also believe that simple contributions, made by one employee may help move the company forward, while simultaneously helping other individuals accomplish their own personal goals. And this is a beautiful objective, because it speaks to the mind of progress through Reason.In addition, my service as an IAM union shop steward fostered the ideology that simple communication tends to amend most concerns, while also leading everyone to win-win outcomes. After serving a time-driven industry for 15+ years, I gratefully recognize that it is an honor to be in a position to help others. This remains my joy. And this joy drives me to expand and diversify my professional network as I transition from operations into human resources.
