Specialty areas: Interim Executive Director: As an interim ED, I work to stabilize the organization through transition, providing confident leadership to the staff in a time of change, while providing the board with the time needed to examine the organization’s aspirations and direction so that its new leader can effectively move the organization forward. Board Development & Governance: I work to activate and empower board members by enabling them to translate their skills, resources and passions into effective governance. I work to ensure that they govern using best practices, have efficient and effective structures, and mission-centered dynamics. My experience includes having worked with boards to revise their bylaws, create committee structures and onboarding processes, and effectively manage change.Fundraising: I have increased fundraising dollars by double digits everywhere I have worked, raising funds from individuals, foundations, corporations and government sources. I build deep relationships with donors to understand their philanthropic objectives and connect them with the organization’s work. I am a vibrant story teller and expert writer.Financial Management: I bring an extensive understanding of finance and an appreciation for the bottom line. I have created, managed and adjusted budgets, making mid-course corrections when necessary to preserve the financial strength of the organization.
