Merrimack River Initiative, June 1992 - July 1994• Primary staff support for the Merrimack River Initiative, in particular the Management and Executive Committees. Participants in the MRI included local, state, regional and federal agencies and organizations• Project manager for a $500,000 budget• Team leader for an interagency staff of 3 full-time and 2 part-time persons• Liaison between the four topical subcommittees (Water Quality, Instream Flow, Information Management and Resource Management), the Conference Planning Committee and the Management Committee. This required interaction with about 200 people meeting and working on issues within the Merrimack River watershed.• Facilitation support for developing action items and management support for implementing activities selected by the MRI for fundingInterim public outreach coordinator: produced the MRI newsletter and the participant directory; fielded information requests, spokesperson for the MRI at meetings and conferences, co-authored script and edited visuals for the MRI slide show• Team leader for 6 member committee to organize and produce two Merrimack River Watershed Conferences, June 7-8, 1993 and June 3-4, 1994. Published the Conference Book and the Proceedings for each conference• Grant writer seeking CWA Section 104(b)(3) funds from US EPA Region I for the MRI• Contract negotiator and manager for disbursing MRI funds to contractorsRunnins River Watershed, February 1992 - July 1992• Performed fieldwork in preparation for wet weather sampling and septic system dye testing• Produced wet weather sampling plan for the watershed including protocols for quality assurance and quality control• Wrote CWA Section 104(b)(3) grant proposal for household hazardous waste and storm water quality education at the town level
