Bárbara Santos is a PhD student in the field of Sleep and Neuroscience.Recently, she enrolled in the PhD program in Pharmaceutical Sciences from FFUC, and she earned a PhD fellowship from the Portuguese national funding agency, Foundation to Science and Technology (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia -FCT). In addition, it is part of the EIT Health @Ageing PhD school that allows her to make innovative and multidisciplinary courses at the top-levels universities across Europe.As result of her research work, Bárbara been author and co-author of 3 publications in Q1 Journals, 7 abstract book, 25 oral and 20 panel communications in scientific meetings in the field, and was awarded with 4 individual awards. In 2022, he joined the PubHD Coimbra team, which focuses on science communication for PhD students at the University of Coimbra. Bárbara is part of CIBB representative students and of the core of doctoral students of the University of Coimbra (NEDUC). She is also part of the Green Labs team.
