Plant Process Safety Management Specialist
CurrentProcess Safety Management Coordinator for the world's largest pork harvest facility responsible for the implementation and administration of the plant's PSM Program to meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1901.1910, USEPA Clean Air Act, and IIAR. Collect and centrally organize all documentation of the facility's PSM Program to create and maintain a point-of-use library. Maintain all documentation to ensure only current information is available and historical documentation is properly archived.Manage the Management of Change Program including tracking change submittals and approvals, and start-up approvals. Track results of hazard analysis evaluations, update Process Safety Information, and assist with the training of personnel.Develop one-point lessons and training for shift handover meetings regarding PSM.Lead monthly PSM meetings in conjunction with the site's Distribution Center.Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for new equipment and processes, as well as revision of existing equipment procedures. Ensure annual reviews and certifications are conducted of operating procedures, P&IDs, and Lock Tag Try procedures.Participate in Compliance Audits and Process Hazard Analyses including tracking of status of recommendations.Assist Safety and Environmental Departments to ensure changes are reported which affect Safety and the Risk Management Program.Participate as Support personnel on the plant's HazMat Team and maintain HazMat inventory and inspection documentation. Maintain portable ammonia detection units and parts inventory. Provide analysis documentation and assist the facility with the development of annual implementation goals for Mechanical Integrity.
