Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.Run all census reports needed for annual benefits premium renewals. Coordinate annual benefit enrollment process with brokers and communicate to HR team. Plans and directs implementation and administration of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, workers compensation, employee assistance, retirement, and other plans.Prepares and communicates or manages the preparation and communication of information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures. Provides services to employees to answer their benefit questions, resolve problems related to access to or payment of benefits, orient newly eligible employees, and process enrollment forms, changes, and loan requests.Coordinates transfer of data to external vendors, plan providers, auditors, and consultants.Negotiates and contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration.Oversee payroll process for company by managing performance of HR Coordinator. Assist in determining human resources department and organizational needs for HRIS implementation or upgrades.Oversee testing of system, conversion of data onto HRIS, and implementation of new system and link-ups with other systems and locations.Train human resources department and organization staff on system access and utilization.
