About Barbara Tejada

Over fifteen years of industry experience from agencies like Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, Saatchi & Saatchi, AKQA and Ogilvy, with degrees in art direction and copywriting from Miami Ad School and a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University. While at CP+B, I contributed to the development and expansion of its interactive department from five to over 200 employees. I also helped to build the team that led the agency to secure their first Interactive Agency of the Year award at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. At AKQA, I helped to develop the recruiting function in the NY, DC and SF offices. AKQA won 2 consecutive Interactive Agency of the Year awards while I was part of the team. While at Ogilvy, I oversaw Creative Recruiting for the network of Ogilvy businesses in New York. I also contributed to the worldwide recruiting effort for both Ogilvy and WPP. Ogilvy went on to win 2 consecutive Network of the Year awards at the Cannes Lions Festival. In 2013, I started Mighty Recruiting. An external recruitment agency dedicated to matching the best talent to a company's business needs.I live in NYC, spend lots of time in Miami, FL, and love to travel everywhere in between.
