Music and figurative art have always been with me throughout my life. I began studying both the piano and the guitar when I was a child and at school I had many opportunities for drawing.I am a qualified accountant and I worked as a manager in administration until recently. At the same time, I followed my artistic passions working as a composer, singer, musician and painter.

I began singing in a choir when I was a child and I studied the guitar and the piano with music teachers who lived in our village, but I didn’t practice much. I’ve been writing songs ‘by ear’ ever since I was little.I made my debut on stage at the age of 16 as a chorister and guitarist. This led to my taking part in singing competitions and having my first experiences of recording studios. Then, for the first time I attended a music composition class. From then on, I’ve continued studying composition and have kept on working to keep up my studies. I began studying back then and I’m still studying today. My most recent instrument is the drums. I’ve worked for years as a singer, arranger and composer under the stage name of Barbara O'Neil for Radio-Line ed. Musicali as well as for other artistic recording teams. I’ve just finished the album Cosmos.Since June 2011, I've worked with WE BERRY as a music composer for advertisements and documentaries.I’m a singing teacher and vocale trainer. I've devised a training-didactic method named "Canto Consapevole" (conscious singing). I work with Forma de Tempo srl as a vocal coach.

Over time, my painting has transformed itself into nothing less than an expressive necessity.I've developed my own unique style ‘Painting from Feelings’ following my natural inspiration as a self-taught artist that led me to the great masters of abstract painting. It is painting from the silence of the mind, from the uniqueness of each moment, from the connection with the other and the collective unconscious, of which we are all part and from which we can all enrich ourselves, if we only place ourselves in a condition of open-mindedness to the emerging symbols.I've been painting since 2007 but began to exhibit publically in April 2015. Since November 2015, I have organized and taught workshops on ‘Painting from Feeling’. I consider the arts (music, painting and writing) in all of their forms to be a tool for the evolution of consciousness and self-expression. In every event I organize, the public are invited to take an active part in the artistic performances.My solo shows entitled ‘INTRECCI’ (Weaving) are by now quite renowned. The visitors may take part in painting and creating a co-authored collective artwork.
