I have a passion for everything to do with voice. The human ability to use our voice for both functional and emotional communication is unique and exciting. My goal is to help every person I work with use their voice authentically for whatever purpose they choose.As both a medically-trained speech-language pathologist with a specialty in voice and a singing teacher, I enjoy working with both healthy voices and injured voices. Whether my client seeks to better their speaking voice or their singing voice, I am honored to be a part of their process.Teaching children to sing young, before they have established bad habits is a high priority for me and I actively work with other singing teachers to help them learn to confidently teach this age group with skill.Rock, pop, indie, country - that is my native language as a singer. It is also an area of singing that has been traditionally neglected by singing teachers. I am actively involved in promoting solid voice training for these styles of music.
