Barbara’s 19 years of driving results for homebuilding and master-planned community clients informs work across Wick Marketing. She currently serves on the ULI Austin District Council for Master-Planned Communities and the ULI National Community Development Council (Silver Flight). A member of the agency’s leadership team, Barbara is responsible for the strategic growth of both the team’s real estate industry knowledge, as well as the agency’s new business development. During her tenure, Barbara has served in several roles, including editorial and account service. In 2009, she took Wick’s builder clients into the social media space prior to the advent of paid social media advertising, making them among the very first to explore the brand opportunities there. She built a best-in-class social media team, and her insights and expertise continue to guide the team’s strategies today. Barbara presented on effective social media strategies for the 55+ consumer at IBS 2020 and on research-based consumer insights at PCBC 2023, and twice at IBS 2024.
