I was the F-35 software middleware block lead responsible for meeting program deliveries and insure our product was tested and included required updates. This job required significant multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment working with a variety of teams. Adding to the complexity of this task was the requirement to support multiple platforms. I spearheaded an improved process for unit testing, reducing time cycle times between releases and improving configuration management of the product. Before becoming the software middleware block lead, I was the domain lead for portions of that same software, including scheduling services, node management and fault handling features. I improved the maintainability and testing of this software by redesigning major sections of this code, reducing test time by over two weeks.

I was the deputy for a 43 person team producing multi-platform, hardware-in-the-loop simulation software. I had the added responsibility of being the system requirements team lead. I created detailed project schedules, reported and tracked status to management, and developed estimates for new business. I coordinated with customers to develop solutions to problems and oversaw their implementation. I received an award for my role in leading and implementing training materials. Before becoming the deputy, I was also the model team lead for this same simulation software. I led a team of 15 engineers. With my guidance, the team greatly improved the performance, number of models delivered and reduced the time between deliveries. I received an award for the improvements in this team's performance.
