About Barbara Drenth

Problem solving and analysis are my strongest skills. People at the companies where I work always comment on how quickly I am able to get a solid understanding of the company, the project, the request, or an application/system that is new to me. First, I have a lot of experience with sales, order services, order fulfillment, customer service and many other processes, with many, many different kinds of applications and technology and a few different industries. Having this general knowledge makes it easier for me to solve problems by asking questions and doing research to quickly gain understanding of the specific:• problem to be solved • business process involved• big picture and long term goals of the customer as they relate to the process or problem• business processes built into the software (if there is software involved) and how it can support the specific business need

Business Analyst Iii

Dublin, County Dublin, Ie

Business Analyst III working with Global Applications (Non-SAP applications)Projects:* WebCenter Graphics Management application implementation - For this project, I was the Technical Business Analyst responsible for documenting use cases, eliciting requirements, and facilitating design of the new processes. I enjoyed learning the WebCenter application and utilized the tool to lay out the the new processes using the configuration tools. In addition to being a lot of fun, it also helped out the Systems Engineer assigned to the project. * SalesForce.com implementation - Utilizing my previous experience with SalesForce.com as well as many other SFA/CRM applications, I was responsible for configuration and for investigation of interfaces with SAP. This was a short-term project until a longer term Business Analyst was found for this application. I enjoy taking one-off assignments. Learning new technology and working with different people is very fulfilling.* Windows 7 Global Implementation - I stepped into an "in progress" project as the Technical lead responsible for coordinating testing of GMP (Good Manafacturing Processes) systems for Windows 7 validation and analyzing the readiness of each department for deployment. I was able to use some of my previous technical experience to build some SQL reports that facilitated the readiness analysis and the setting of the deployment schedules.* SAP Order to Cash integration after Perrigo Company acquired Paddock Laboratories - Through my time working at Paddock Laboratories as a Business Analyst, I had become the IT SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Paddock Laboratories order to cash process including regulatory requirements and Chargebacks/Billbacks/Rebates.

Sr Sap Sd Business Analyst

Paddock Laboratories (Acquired By Perrigo Company In 2012)

As a Senior SAP SD Business Analyst, I made configuration changes in SAP and defined enhancement requirements as needed to support of the business needs of the Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Distribution, and Regulatory departments. In addition, I picked up several one-off assignments such as finding a way to improve the tracking and billing for contract manufacturing services and researching and recommending software for the legal department to better manage legal contracts.Projects and achievements:* Controlled Substance License Checking - After working with the business subject matter experts to learn the regulatory requirement and the customer service ordering processes for controlled substances, I designed a solution in SAP that allowed for the automatic checking of state and federal licenses for controlled and prescription products. The solution also facilitated the verification of DEA forms for Schedule II controlled substances.* Enhancements and Support for Chargeback System - In order to ensure that I was able to support the existing application for distributor chargebacks, rebates, and billbacks, I took the time to work with the business to understand these processes, which were new to me. Then, I worked through the code to ensure that I knew what parts of the application were doing what and where the data was being stored. While there were few issues, this was a high visibility application and I was able to resolve issues quickly, more effectively elicit reporting requirements, and provide better testing scripts.
