Launch manager responsible for all aspects of engineering and manufacture of state-of-the-art prototype casings assembled by customer in a uranium enrichment centrifuge. • Materials Manager - managed all material flow in a 1.8M square foot Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plant shipping over 30,000 units per day. Directly supervised 6 salaried supervisors and 125 hourly personnel with annual budget/P&L responsibility of $11.6M. This includes full responsibility for performance appraisal, hiring and separation; UAW grievance process administration• Receiving operations: 85-100 trucks daily over 3 shifts.• Shipping operations: 30 regularly scheduled trucks daily to 24 global customer locations plus 8-10 expedites daily. • Lean distribution of parts to 14 final assembly lines, 25+ machining departments • Inventory management: Accountability for total plant production inventory of $18.3M, implemented cycle counts and resolved discrepancies. • Material management processes: Established and maintained material processes, using value stream mapping and master schedules to optimize process and identify constraints

• As general foreman, indirectly supervised four salaried personnel and 125 hourly personnel in high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing operation that produced over 10,000 units daily on a seven day, two shift operation. Resolved manning issues, coordinated emergency and planned fix engineering and maintenance assistance for manufacturing and machinery issues.• As Quality Mfg Planning Specialist, responsible for implementing lean manufacturing/JIT practices on all assembly lines using MRP. Ensured entire product line met ISO/TS 16949 standards, which includes stringent requirements for process documentation and compliance, parts identification, disposition of discrepant material and documentation.
