Bij Roamler heb ik diverse Roamler crowds opgebouwd en gezorgd dat deze actief taken in de app uitvoerden. Ik monitorde groei, activiteit en verschillende experimenten om te bepalen wat werkte voor de crowd en wat niet.Na 8 mooie jaren bij Roamler is het tijd voor wat anders. Eerst tijd voor familie: ik streep ‘op reis met mijn gezin’ van mijn bucket list. In september ben ik terug en staat alles open. Misschien ga ik weer als community manager aan de slag, maar denk ook na over een nieuwe carrière en/of opleiding. Wellicht ga ik voor een carrière het onderwijs, leer ik eindelijk coderen of ga ik meer focussen op het schrijven van content.

Bij Roamler Care bouwde ik een crowd van zelfstandige zorgprofessionals. Dit is voor sommigen dé manier om te kunnen blijven werken in de zorg.Roamler Care doet dit door zelfstandige zorgprofessionals zelf te laten bepalen waar en wanneer ze werken. Roamler Care minimaliseert de administratie; de zorgprofessional kiest de werkzaamheden uit die passen bij zijn of haar professionele niveau en waar zij op dat moment tijd voor hebben. Zo kunnen zorgprofessionals doen wat ze het liefste doen: goede zorg bieden.

Roamler is the market leader within crowd-sourced field marketing activities. Through its resources and technology, the company manages a crowd of thousands of individuals and independent professionals spread across Europe. These “Roamlers” collect insights, execute retail audits, and perform merchandising activities for the biggest FMCG manufactures, consumer brands, retail chains, etc.As the CRO my responsibility were the Roamlers. I worked on building active Roamler Crowds worldwide and keeping them happy, using tactics from community management, communication and (data) research. My responsibilities as the International CRO were:- Supporting international partners in building and maintaining active crowds using data, coordinating experiments and shared experiences. - Coordinating development processes with input from stakeholders like team members and Roamlers of the different countries. Supported with testing, creating updates and instructions on how to use our systems.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2011, Roamler offers crowd-powered solutions, answering the call of companies for efficiency with individuals who perform on-demand tasks. This helps businesses increase flexibility, whilst simultaneously opening up opportunities for people.Being part of the small start-up team, activities ranged from writing texts for the website, recruiting Roamlers, meetings with potential clients. The main focus was on community and project management.- Community manager: building and maintaining an active mobile workforce of Roamlers in the Netherlands (start June 2011) and United Kingdom (start December 2011).- Project manager: support brands in collection information on retail insights like product placements and Out of Stock data, using the Roamler crowd.

Slow travel, using mostly public transport to go from Utrecht via Morocco, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Burkino Faso to Ghana. And a tour around Lake Victoria visiting Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenia and back to Tanzania.

Researcher and advisor focussed on e-government and interactive policy making.

Als stagiair bij de afdeling Maatschappelijke Organisaties bracht ik onder andere de activiteiten ter bevordering van het draagvlak van ontwikkelingssamenwerking in kaart, naar aanleiding van kanttekeningen tijdens het begrotingsdebat 2004.
