About Barbara Force
I am a former teacher and a former research associate. I love reading, writing, watching, and playing fantastical adventures, and I love watching good triumph over evil. My goal is to leave the world a kinder, better place than when I entered it. My current battle is with my own body and with the U.S./Maryland health system (or lack thereof) as I battle a disease that is still poorly understood despite being described in detail 200 years ago and being the fifth leading cause of death in young women. My current goal is to be well enough to do my part in finding a cure for that disease and other neglected diseases with limited treatments.
Listed skills include Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, Artificial Insemination, Dissection, and 17 others.
