Private Equity spun TASC out of parent Northrup Grumman as a Professional Services provider (5,000 employees, $1.6B revenue) to the Intelligence Community and Public Sector. • Recruited to stand-up the new company’s enterprise platform and lead strategy, operations and change initiatives. Responsibilities grew to include winning new business, improving program performance, driving innovation, briefings to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and key customers on technology, culture transformation and TASC’s capabilities, establishing industry relationships and M&A diligence.• Delivered new infrastructure in less than one year. Components included design/standup of industry recognized Cyber Security Operations Center, Data Analytics / BI, outsourced managed hosting (cloud, IaaS, SaaS), design/migration of new ERP suite, classified operations, user support, collaboration suite and marketing / engineering applications. • Created strategy in partnership with business leaders for new competitive differentiators. Built the high performing teams (100 positions) in less than 90 days to execute the plan.• Led the IT transition while also managing ongoing operations and services. Team received special recognition and highest awards from the CEO and Chairman of the Board.• Improved service levels and performance while reducing costs by 50%. Initiatives included early adoption of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Self-Service Analytics and Mobile Apps., restructuring of outsourced services, rollout of enhanced collaboration tools and user support automation.• Advised Private Equity sponsors and PE portfolio companies on cybersecurity/IT operations and risk management issues resulting in avoidance of liability and higher incident response costs.• Identified new markets and revenue streams leveraging Cyber capabilites, launched two new offerings and led related M&A activities. • Sponsored employee affinity groups, mentored emerging talent and elevated leadership quality.

Responsible for leading the information technology vision, global operations and capital investments for $14B Business Area with 46,000 employees. Served on Corporate Enterprise Architecture Board, Program Management Advisory Council, Risk Management Identification Committee and Quality Task Force. • As the first CIO, established IT components of our Long Range Business Plan/Strategy. Set objectives and led plan implementation. Achieved desired results for increased new business collaboration and improved skill utilization between business units which in turn drove new product and cross-over sales.• Gained approval for IT Modernization Strategy and led multi-year restructure for Help Desk, Hosting Services and Information Security, resulting in a 30% reduction in operating costs.• Led development, implementation and operations of $360M IT portfolio utilizing ITIL and Program Management/financial disciplines, reduced project overages by 90%.• Designed and transitioned to an Enterprise Operating Model including ERP implementation waves (SAP) with 85% reuse, resulting in savings of $160M. • Implemented innovative solutions approach to incubate and rollout new capabilities resulting in adoption of five new offerings. • Created bid and solutions support capability to improve proposal quality.
