Barbie has co-owned an award winning construction company in Tallahassee Florida for 30 years. She has recently moved to the Chicagoland area and is looking forward to continuing to sharpen her skills working for a company that can provide her a new challenge. Her homes also have won 7 Gold Awards, 4 Silver Awards, 2 Realtor Choice Awards and won Builder of the Year in 2006. Barbie has developed over a hundred home designs, all which have extensive attention to detail. In addition to designing the floor plans Barbie also selects all the products for the home including the cabinetry, flooring, paint, lighting, and more. She has the unique ability to design a home and select products that pay off on the overall vision. She can pull off any look within almost any budget which ultimately sells homes and thrills custom home clients. As co-owner of Hartsfield Construction Barbie focused on office management, profitability, marketing and the residential design and sales. She has experience managing a variety of employees at all levels, overseeing book keeping, making business decisions to drive success, developing marketing plans and working with local press to showcase work, and all while being the key driver of success and business unit owner of residential construction. In 2010 Barbie launched 1st Priority Realty & Property Management. She developed the property management company from scratch, putting all the processes in place, hiring a staff, marketing and developing owner relationships. Now this business has well over 100 properties within the portfolio and continues to thrive.
