I am committed to leading the SSF Ed Foundation to realizing its mission to support and enhance public education in the South San Francisco Unified School District. We are a community-led organization that collaborates with the district to address critical student needs; promote equitable education and access across district schools; and offer students and educators resources that are strongly linked to long term success, encourage student engagement, and promote a love for learning.

My experience on local PTA boards and the invaluable training resources the organization provides have honed my nonprofit governance and administration skills, especially in cases where there are many stakeholders. Being on the district PTA Council gave me an opportunity to see the difference resources can make from school to school, which inspired me to start the South San Francisco Education Foundation.

During my time on on the SBPC board, I was a champion for systemic changes that improved the club's diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility by leading its rebrand from Mothers Club to Parents Club and releasing firm anti-racism statements. I also planned hundreds of community-building and fundraising events for local parents.

Through ghostwriting, I brought a prominent yoga teacher's moving life story to people who can relate and desperately need to believe transformation is possible. I also wrote inspiring online content for wellness- and parenting-related businesses.

During my many years as a wellness instructor, I supported a wide range of clients' physical and emotional well-being through yoga, meditation, and exercise instruction at a number of studios, gyms, educational facilities, chronic pain clinics, and even a jail. Along with teaching classes open to all, I offered specialized instruction for children, seniors, and pregnant people. I occasionally coordinated larger scale events, such as a popular Aquatic Fitness Conference and a Yoga in the Park promotional event. In addition, I mentored and evaluated new fitness and yoga instructors for certification.

As a Kinesiology TA I lead small group tutorials and evaluated students' work.

During my time as a lifeguard I responded to a number of emergencies and became known for my mastery of lifesaving skills. I relayed those skills to others through teaching First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety classes.
