During 1999-2006, I have also acted as back up Operations Manager and Lean Manufacturing Sponsor for all aluminum products. The Industrial Division produces fabricated tubular components using brass, copper, aluminum and steel. Automotive products are made from aluminum and customers included Ford, Visteon, GM, Delphi, Chrysler, and Behr. Other metals are sold to major AC&R and Refrigeration companies. New products include specialty plumbing fittings that require no soldering. Processes included forming, extruding, and bending tube into final form. I report directly to the Plant Manager and supervise a Quality Engineer, three Quality Technicians and various inspectors. I have handled all standard Quality tasks including Management Reviews, audits, training and evaluation, warrants, and reports. I'm very focused on customer satisfaction and employee development. CTS of Berne, Inc Resistor Networks Business UnitCTS is a manufacturer of passive thick film resistor networks for the telecommunications, automotive and computer markets. The facility located at Berne has been closed, as has the facility at Arkansas, however headquarters is still located at Elkhart Indiana.1992 – Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for cost reduction projects in Surface Mount Device line and Computer Integrated Manufacturing area. Co-Project leader for successful Oliver Wight Material Requirements Planning program1990 – Supervisor of Computer Integrated Manufacturing project line, Surface Mount Device line, Ceramics and Plant-Wide Laser Technical group.1987 – Supervisor of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineering. I was responsible for the implementation of all product initial runs and customer approval.1986 – Quality Engineer. I was responsible for incoming and final quality control. I implemented a vendor survey program and executed all surveys.1984 – Project Engineer. Project was to duplicate and transfer a proprietary product line to the CTS Arkansas facility. This $1.5 million project was completed early and under budget, and required re-location to Arkansas for implementation1982 – Manufacturing Engineer. I supported projection in appraisal, disposition, failure analysis, equipment verification and capability studies.
