In my MSc Financial Economics degree where I researched in-depth the topic of M&A between luxury conglomerates Kering, LVMH and Capri Holdings. Through extensive research of those companies, its competitors and the strategies between M&As transactions, I have gained strong evaluating and analytical skills along with stronger strategic thinking. This dissertation topic showed me all the factors that need to be considered during a decision-making process and has given me an insight into the responsibilities a position such as a project manager carries. I have always been self-motivated and with my hard work and good time-management I was awarded an overall grade A and finished my degree with a distinction. 2022-2024 Trade operations specialist - where I am overlooking international high value deals with renewable energy sources. This job has introduced me to the working environment where I have been closely working with many company's teams such as finance, trading, invoices etc and gave me a good understanding of different teams' dynamics and the importance of smooth flow between various company's departments. Working as trade OPS is demanding and has successfully taught me great time management and prioritizing while working under pressure.2024-Now Received a promotion to a Senior role which now involves managerial decisions, choosing new canditates and allows me to delegate tasks to my team as I see fit.Furthermore, I have received The Adam Smith Scholar Award of Excellence which is awarded to students with the highest level of scholarly performance and also shows the potential to contribute significantly in their chosen fields. In my BA Business Economics degree, I have similarly received a Certificate of Achievement called JSG Wilson Prize which is awarded for high academic performance in the faculty of Business, Law and Politics. Part of my BA and MSc programs was giving presentations in front of large crowds which I always confidently managed. Presenting in front of others while taking a leadership stance in a group project has become one of my favourite tasks. It gives me a chance to be creative in both the designing sector and in speech writing. I enjoy this because I can utilize my attention to detail and it goes well with one of my favourite past time hobbies which is drawing and art. This has been successfully reflected in my current job position where I have recently given a presentation about European redemption methods accross different countries to a new team as a form of training to ensure a more efficient working environment.
