I am a Program Director with a strong background managing highly successful programs and events from inception to execution. Throughout my career, I have been extremely effective at developing sales and marketing initiatives and quality materials to promote events. As a manager, I have become skilled at recruiting talented volunteers and staff and providing them with the training and tools needed to perform effectively. Currently, I am the Director of the Urban Land Institute where I direct all activities involving the Center for Leadership and Urban Plan programs. I also manage financial transactions to ensure cost and expenditures remain within budget. As a manager, I recruit and train volunteers responsible for planning and executing the Annual Sporting Clays Invitational. In this position, I secure sponsors to support event funding, create marketing materials and graphics for all events, maintain the district council website, and oversee social media marketing campaigns. As programs progress, I monitor the daily progress to identify and remediate potential issues and assure progress is on schedule. While in this position, I consistently exceeded revenue expectations for 5 years as a result of my strong leadership in directing the Sporting Clays Committee and programs.One of my proudest achievements was in managing the Center for Leadership, one of the Institute’s core programs. The program was so successful that it has been replicated in several District Councils. As the manager of the program, I currently deliver coaching and expertise to these Councils in implementing their programs successfully.
