GE Power Norway is an engineering company working with cleaning emissions from power plants, and hydro power. Alstom was bought up by GE in 2015, and the company was through a major restructuring process. During my time in Alstom/GE we were between 260 and 90 employees. Some work areas:• Participate in transition process, planning and executing the restructuring process. • Coach managers in all HR related issues and personnel management.• Handle legal enquiries, for example restructuring, AFP, dismissal, foreign laboring, competition clause etc.• Participate in overtime project where we created policy that defined groups entitled to overtime, rules for working hours, overtime, flexitime etc.• Negotiate and prepare agreements with the unions. Facilitate and participate in salary review/negotiations.• Mapping of salary level.• Analysis of skills in the company and prepare a development plan/ of the salary level/of compensation for international mobility/ of the sick leave etc.• Recruitment.• Responsible for International mobility.
