This required me to research and master new formatting tags, and cater the wiki to the needs of the facilities team.• In charge of a weekly environmental affairs blog. Rolled out an email campaign to enlist 10 different writers, and personally wrote 8 blog posts. -
Co FounderWest Campus Green Initiative Jun 2012 - May 2013This is an initiative that I started alongside my twin brother to provide every student resident of the University of Texas the ability to recycle. After receiving a $1000 grant we went on to build a foundation to increase the efficiency and accessibility of recycling/compost services available to students living off Campus.We partnered with the City of Austin Resource Recovery and UT Austin’s Sustainability Officer, as well as local green businesses to fabricate a scorecard system rating properties on services, energy appliances, and water use. Also launched and coordinated a “Green Greek” movement, to set up a platform that allowed Frats and Sororities to easily recycle post-party waste. We were able to have 25% participation within the Greek system and made the initiative an action item for Student Government.
