• Organized weekly guest seminar series, including researching prospective speakers, issuing invitations to speak and providing travel arrangements as needed; arranging catering; and building expanded audience outreach list.• Provided logistical support for all other Global Institute events, including lecture series, fora, professional short courses and conferences, both on campus and at long-distance, and periodic training visits by groups of thirty-plus Indian Foresters per arrangement with the government of India. Duties included, as needed, reserving venues, arranging for AV needs, arranging travel, catering, hotel reservations, monitoring expenses, submitting invoices and expense reports, and reconciling budgets. • Assisted the Global Institute Director in developing a new short course in forestry for high level professionals. Developed advertisements and other marketing materials for promoting this and other short courses. Developed prospect list from web search. Acted as course registrar, including taking course payments and monitoring budgets, and maintained close contact with registrants leading up to the course.• Proof-read GISF publications.
