Led a division comprised of 27 geographically diverse Specialty Care Clinics including the: hospital-owned Cardiovascular Center (Cardiology Clinic, EKG & Echo, EP and Cardiac Cath labs), the Bone and Joint Institute, the Neuroscience Institute (Neurology Clinic, Neurosurgery Clinic, Sleep Center, EEG & EMG Services), Women's Care Center, Pain Management Clinic; all Surgical Clinics; nine outlying specialty clinics; and the Clinical Education Department for 100 clinics.Improved access and patient satisfaction scores, co-led transition to electronic medical record (EPIC Ambulatory and MyChart applications), planned and opened clinics, introduced the first Care Coordination position, grew EMS & Critical Access Hospital-Medical Center telemedicine stroke care, expanded OB prenatal ultrasound services and added Uro-gynecology services, expanded cardiac services with the installation of the hospital's first Hybrid OR in the Cath Lab, and standardized clinical support staff practices across all clinics.

Reported directly to the hospital COO and responsible for 21 hospital owned Specialty Clinics and the hospital's laboratory, radiology and rehabilitative departments in addition to the practice owned surgical clinics. The Specialty Clinics included the Oncology Infusion Center, the Cardiovascular Center (Cardiology Clinic, EKG & Echo, EP and Cardiac Cath labs), the Bone and Joint Institute, the Neuroscience Institute (Neurology Clinic, Neurosurgery Clinic, Sleep Center, EEG & EMG Services), Women's Care Center, and Pain Management Clinic.Initiated a bedside PICC (peripherally inserted central line catheter) placement service for ICU patients, expanded inpatient orthopedic rehabilitative services resulting in a 0.5 day ALOS decreased inpatient stay, guided transition to the EPIC ClinDoc EMR, led two successful Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center reaccreditation surveys, improved Respiratory Therapy treatment compliance from 77% to above 96%, implemented pharmacist inpatient medication education, decreased medical chart 'delinquency rate' from 45% to under 3%, initiated the medical center's first tele-commuting work schedule for HIM coders. Started the Ambulatory Care Nurse Council.

Responsible for adult and pediatric EDs with 85,000 annual visits, a Level 1 Trauma Center, Trauma Flight Services, 28-bed Surgical ICU, 16-bed ICU Progressive Care Unit and a 36-bed inpatient care unit. Brought Patient Satisfaction scores from less that the 60th percentile to over the 90th percentile. Improved ED documentation from less than 80% to over 92%. Began a self-governing Nurse Council. Deleted all agency positions at a $2.0Mil/yr savings. Instituted an adult admit hold area and a Clinical Decision Unit, the latter to provide rapid evaluation for chest pain patients. Planned and executed ED renovations. Lauded by city's Fire & Rescue for consistently having the best ambulance ED patient "off-load" time of all city hospitals.

Served as a Hospital Accreditation Surveyor primarily for academic medical centers.

Provided agency RN ICU and ED services to local hospitals in need of additional nursing staff.
