•Recruits, hires, trains, supports, motivates, and leads site coordinators, instructors, and volunteers for the education program.• Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of instructors in the schools and serves as a sounding board and mentor for them when they need support in teaching and managing students. • Contributes to educational manuals for boatbuilding (as well as future projects such as box guitars, bricks, etc.) including creating, editing, and revising manuals.• Master of each instructional model in order to effectively train instructors and coordinators• Teaches hands-on building classes to students as necessary, not limited to but including substituting for absent instructors.• Establishes and fosters communication with school administration and staff.• Solicits feedback from students, staff, and administrators in an effort to continuously improve the education model.• Actively seeks and implemenst ideas for future hands-on educational projects.• Builds relationships with local families and communities by helping support events and programs that involve parents and neighbors of the schools.
