Then, in 2005 I co-founded Crossbeta Biosciences, a biotech company with expertise and technology in the area of protein misfolding in health and disease. I was the COO and Head R&D, and, amongst others, responsible for the implementation and execution of the aligned R&D and IP strategy of the biotech company. Since the alignment of the strategies attracted more and more of my interest, in April 2011 I therefore moved to JPWaVe where I am now a partner, devoting my time to the business side of Intellectual Property. I am involved in all aspects of integrating an IP Strategy in an overall Company Strategy, valuation of IP assets, quality analyses of IP portfolios in conjunction with R&D and Business plans, and creating value from R&D and IP of JPWaVe’s customer companies.
