(www.westcoastelectrics.com) As Owner/President at West Coast Electric Cycles, I developed a product line, procured products from Asia, Canada and the USA, and sold high performance electric bicycle kits via online store, with global market reach. Duties also included retail sales to consumers, as well as customer service, after sale support, and consultations. Set-up and marketing of Shopify and eBay stores, as well as Wordpress sales site.

Duties include processing RFI's and Submittals to designer, coordinating and directing subs, material procurement, maintaining job documents and recording decisions by designer. Project Manager for Stone fabrication, Tile & Masonry scopes of work. Create & Submit change orders for new and revised scopes of work. Major project was a 24,000 SF Private residence on Mercer Island, where over $2M in stone, tile & masonry work was installed over 18 months.

Developed detailed estimates based on Architectural drawings & specifications or based on Client walk-through. Coordination with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors to create the scope of work and owner contract. Permitting. Expert use of AutoCAD as part of the BIM process. Develop & process Request for Information (RFI) submittals. Manage costs & review client billings for accuracy and completeness. Maintain project logs, including subcontractor shop drawing submittals, RFI's, SK / ASK / SSK details, Material & finish schedules. Develop & deliver "Homeowner's Manual." upon project completion.Research & procurement of project materials, including custom and special order items. The extreme example of this was a client who wanted "glass cabinet pulls" - for which I modeled in 3D AutoCAD a waterjet glass pull with custom machined chrome plated brass stand-offs, and subsequently sourced through three different vendors to get them produced.

Develop & Teach Evening Carpentry courses, including Residential Blueprint Reading, Material Estimating, Understanding IRC & IBC Building Codes, Stair Design & Construction, Rafter Framing, Cabinet Construction. Created video based online instruction content for efficient and consistent presentation of information.
