Blast Tech is a Colorado based, family-owned, specialty abrasive blasting business providing high quality media blasting and quick turns to manufacturing, automotive, design, and construction. All work is performed onsite in our three large blasting booths. We have large batch capacity to prepare newly machined metal with the proper profile for adhesion. And, on the restoration side, our experienced technicians routinely remove rust, paint, filler, and debris. from metal, wood, fiberglass, plastic, and glass. Blast Tech is one of the few Colorado surface tech companies offering both soda blasting and chemical stripping that is gentle on alloys.

Working with an industry leader in international humanitarian relief, I led external relations, stakeholder engagement, major gifts, and strategic partnerships for Colorado and the Mountain West.Additionally, I liaised with the leadership team of Project C.U.R.E.'s Denver Ambassador Board and Young Professionals Board to build awareness for our work and increase programmatic support.As the face of Project C.U.R.E. in Colorado, I conducted media interviews (CPR and local news stations), and was a guest speaker for GlobalMindED, Rotary, Healthcare Businesswomen's Association seminar on Transformative Leadership and various podcasts.

As a member of CWEE's executive leadership team, I worked closely with CWEE's CEO, Board of Directors, Leadership Council and staff to advance CWEE's mission, increase its visibility in the community and raise necessary funds. As Development Director my responsibilities included: - creating an intentional culture of philanthropy- leveraging private funds (from individuals/foundations/corporations) for greater program impact - creating and executing an annual fundraising plan (exceeding fundraising goals in FY18/FY19)- setting and managing fundraising and marketing budgets- directing 20-member Leadership Council to increase community support and funding for CWEE - developing strategic partnerships with corporations and their employee resource groups- amplifying CWEE's presence by representing the organization as a thought leader in poverty alleviation and workforce development- overseeing external event planning and manage all related volunteers- managing external communications (e-news, social media, donor cultivation/stewardship)During my tenure, I was able to both expand CWEE's fundraising base and exceed fundraising goals each fiscal year while improving donor retention. Founded in 1982, CWEE has empowered over 17,000 low-income, diverse families to overcome the constraints of poverty by providing the tools, coaching and 1:1 support necessary to find and maintain long-term employment.

As Development Director of Escuela de Guadalupe, an innovative, financially accessible, dual-language school serving under-resourced Latino families, I worked closely with Escuela's President and Board of Trustees to successfully raise over a million dollars annually in scholarship assistance- year over year exceeding dollar and donor goals. Additionally, I co-launched the school's 2.4MM Raise Your Hand campaign to facilitate a site move, program expansion and endowment fund. It was extremely gratifying working for the families we served, and for a program with a proven track record of minimizing the achievement gap in education; Over 90% of Escuela graduates went on to graduate from high school, or were on track to do so, and many successfully enrolled in college programs as well.
