Steve was the Founder & CEO of Instant Financial, a technology platform that gives employees the opportunity to claim a portion of their earned income after every shift without any fees. Instant works alongside existing human capital management, payroll and time and attendance solutions to provides a real-time cashflow solution to employees who, in turn, are more engaged in the workplace. Instant has been designed as a vital employee benefit for hospitality, retail, manufacturing, construction and healthcare employers.

Steve led the hardware, software, product management and IT teams at TIO Networks as the CTO & EVP of Product Management for 10 years. Steve designed and deployed business focused engineering and operating processes for the company along with mentoring the development team in results driven practices. Steve also had line responsibility for all of the company’s internal systems including the company’s data centers and system support teams. Steve also led the company's compliance efforts to achieve PCI-DSS Compliance Level 1 Validation along with completing numerous ongoing audits such as SAS70 (COBIT) to meet the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, in addition to Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and the security and privacy requirements of the largest Wireless, Utility and Financial Services organizations across North America clients such as Pacific Gas & Electric, Georgia Power, Florida Power & Light, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. TIO Networks was acquired by PayPal.

Steve was the Founder & CEO of Santra Technology, the pioneer of the WS-QOS spec that defined application messaging delivery within the emerging SOAP/XML web services industry. Santra clients included Fortune 500 leaders such as Microsoft, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin establishing Santra as the clear market leader in XML web application performance management. Santra was acquired by Mercury Interactive (now part of HP).
