Mr. Özce graduated from I.N.S.A. de Lyon (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées) in 1982 with B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and M.Sc. in Signal Processing. Before joining Nortel Netaş in 1984, he had worked in IBM Research Center La Gaude in Nice and PTT ARLA (Research Laboratory) in Istanbul. Within Netaş, Mr. Özce had performed executive stints in Customer Engineering, System Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Marketing & Sales and International Marketing & Sales and left Nortel Netaş in June 2006 when he was Assistant General Manager.Since July 2006, Mr. Barhan Özce is Managing Partner of Stratagem; Information, Consultancy and Training Company.Between 1994-2004, Mr. Özce had worked in international markets such as Bosnia, Macedonia, Romania, Morocco, Nigeria, Algeria, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Argentina where he was managing S&M activities. He was Board Member of “Vesnet” in Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Board of “Netaş Maroc” in Morocco, both JV’s of Netaş.In 2000, Mr. Özce was selected as “Top Talent” within Nortel global organization and in 2002 he had obtained special award of Netaş GM for his “Contribution to Development and Training of Netaş Employees”.Since 2006, as Managing Partner of Stratagem, he provides companies from ICT, Heating, Refrigerating, Defense, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Chemical industries with consultancy services in R&D and Innovation, Productization, S&M, Business Development and Strategic Management.Mr. Özce has several memberships in committees and NGO's related to R&D, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.Mr. Özce is also part-time instructor in Boğaziçi University since 2006 where he teaches “Management for Engineers” course to M.Sc. and senior students. He has compiled the subject course by taking into account the requirements and expectations of industrial companies from the engineers.M. Özce is Council's member of Saint Joseph Alumni Association.
