Retired from E.I.DuPont company on 30June2015 after 43 years of service in DuPont's Engineering Function.Last three years Construction Management of large projects at New Johnsonville, TN site. This included developing construction front end loading to enable projects to be authorized, to construction manager of the field construction. Front end loading included defining construction strategy, identifying design packages with the design contractor, identified limiting and critical equipment delivery dates, developing construction staffing, coordinating sourcing of construction contracts. Implemented owner responsible site construction quality plan that meet RAGAGEP and identified construction contractor's quality requirements. Developed MicroSoft construction schedule, based on engineering design package and equipment procurement dates, for input to the overall project Primavera schedule. Tracked design and sourcing deliverable dates, analyze and agreed to any changes to dates, and status construction progress and schedule. Developed construction percent completes and costs projections, and implement corrective actions as needed. Developed construction turnover plan that identified change in responsibilities from construction precommissioning to the plant team of commissioning and start up. Worked closely with construction contractors to assure that their safety plan meets DuPont's expectation of a safe project, and followed up in the field with audits of contractors' safety performance.
