Baris Kokoglu was born in 1969 in Istanbul, Turkey. Mr. Kokoglu is a graduate of Private Saint Michel French High School and holds degrees in Bsc. Business Administration from Marmara University, Ms. Marketing from Boston University and Ma. International Management from Istanbul University.Mr. Kokoglu started his career as a Dealer at Marmara Bank’s treasury unit in 1993. He held the position of Treasury Assistant Manager at Garanti Yatirim Bankasi between 1994-1997; he founded Corporate Treasury Unit at Garanti Bankasi and served as Treasury Marketing Manager, Manager of Retail Banking and Corporate Treasury Director between 1997-2003. Mr. Kokoglu joined the Borusan Group as the Assistant General Manager of Finance and Investor Relations at Borusan Holding and Borusan Yatirim in 2003, and he still currently serves as the Group CFO at Borusan Holding, General Manager at publicly listed company Borusan Yatirim, as well as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Board Member at several Borusan Group companies.Baris Kokoglu is fluent in English and French.Member of the Board of Directors at BCSD Turkey, IR Turkey and is a member of TUSIAD, Global Compact Turkey, TKYD; TEID and TUYID. Mr. Kokoglu is a married with two children and currently lives in Istanbul.
