As a Wildlife Ecologist at the Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI), I am committed to the preservation and monitoring of Pakistan's rich biodiversity and wildlife habitats. I hold an MPhil in Wildlife Ecology and a Master's in Zoology/Animal Biology from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, with over 6 years of research experience in wildlife, biodiversity, and climate change. This experience has equipped me with valuable skills in GIS, R, and statistical ecological modeling.My work has involved developing and implementing comprehensive ecological survey plans across different ecological regions of Pakistan. I have collected and analyzed field data on topics such as habitat monitoring, human-wildlife conflict resolution, species abundance and distribution, and the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and wildlife. I have been monitoring and evaluating government projects of Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme and Protected Areas Initiatives of Pakistan. I have served as a Research Associate and Data Analyst for Non-Governmental Organizations such as the Snow Leopard Foundation (SLF) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Additionally, I have worked as an M&E Officer at Ministry of Climate Change Pakistan for few years. I am currently serving as a Wildlife Ecologist for the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Government of Pakistan.
